Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Hi there,
I did a search before starting a new topic, but couldn't find what I was looking for already covered.

I downloaded Sermon Speaker today, but have been unable to get Joomla! to upload the package files. I tried both 4.4.4 and 4.4.3, I even tried downloading the com_ files and doing it that way, but I continually get returned with "There was an error uploading this file to the server."

I have tried in both Firefox and IE, but same result. I am running Joomla! 1.7.5 with PHP 5.3.8, so I don't think it is a server software error.

I have also been able to upload and install other components and packages for different products.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Hi James

I would suggest you have a look at the documentation section. Especially the part "First Steps" -> "Installing": www.sermonspeaker.net/documentation/first-steps/installing.html

Your problem is that the SermonSpeaker package is more than 2 MByte big. And your server most likely has the "upload_max_filesize" and/or "post_max_size" set to 2M.
