Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Is there a way to get an sitemap in joomla to work with the lists? I want a sitemap with the (active) speakers and there (active) sermons... is that possible?

It's already coded for SermonSpeaker 4.4.
I've also did a working plugin for the Xmap component.

Both are not yet released, but could be tested if you're interested. Especially the plugin for Xmap I would be interested in some opinions.

This is the Xmap plugin. It needs the Xmap component to work
