Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Need help with configuring SermonSpeaker 4.x.
First of all I want to thank you for putting this program out there for downloads. I am having some difficulty trying to configure the file path. While i am in the SermonSpeaker page, i clicked on the drop down to select a parth, I got the following error:
500 - An error has occurred.
Could not open file "C:\wamp\www\Joomlatest\images\"
instead of it pointing to the following folder instead
C:\wamp\www\Joomlatest\components\com_sermonspeaker\media

Please note that i am working from my localhost at this time. Files has not yet been uploaded to internet server as yet. Can help out with this

By default, the files will be searched in the /images/ folder. This is also the default directory for the Joomla Media Manager.
It's strongly suggested to place your sermons at least outside of /components/com_sermonspeaker. Chances are your sermons will get deleted on upgrades otherwise.

What did you enter into the setting for the sermon path? The path has to be entered relative to the Joomla root. Like "images/sermons".
Also try with '/' instead of '\' even if you're on a windows machine.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the prompt response to my question.
Actually here is what I entered into the setting of the sermon path..
\components\com_sermonspeaker\media.
And when I save my entry it returns the following path
C:\wamp\www\Joomlatest\components\com_sermonspeaker\media
and generate an error of invalid path.
Thanks again for your great support and I look forward to reading from you.

Can you try if you enter the path like this:
components/com_sermonspeaker/media

Otherwise maybe try with your basepath "joomlatest" instead of "Joomlatest".

Of course make sure the path
"C:\wamp\www\Joomlatest\components\com_sermonspeaker\media" really exists :-)

Basically it looks more like a bug in Joomla or the wamp server. I personally use XAMPP for my local test setup and here it works.
