Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

i've just had a sermon that was 70 minutes long and the time that id3 tag was looking up was being passed as 0:70:26. but the system kept resenting it back to 0 because there are 60 minutes in an hour.

That's interesting. Seems like the getID3 class only calculates minutes and seconds from the id3 tag. I never tested that and SermonSpeaker makes no checks for this.
If the bug also happens in SermonSpeaker 4.x I'll have to see if another release of getID3 is fixing this or if I have to do the checks myself :-)

I probably will not fix it in SermonSpeaker 3.x as its not a big issue and development is officially closed with this release.
