Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

One of my church websites use the SermonSpeaker 3.x frontend upload option. Sometime the file uploads but they never get the screen to add the sermon information it just takes them back to the home page.

Is it possible to have a frontend login so they can see/upload/ and edit all the sermons on the website?

This would be better as they can FTP the sermon and simply login to the frontend and have similar screens as the backend. Is this something you can provide the code for?

I'm working on it, but it isn't something that will happen soon, and not for SermonSpeaker 3.x.

If it doesn't work with the current Uploader, you can check the Apache error log and see if there is an entry for it. Filesize, memory limits, script duration all can break the uploader due to php and server settings.

Also some SEF components may break it.
