can't subscribe to podcast

Hi,

My podcast seems to be working ok,

If I click the "subscribe for free" button, that works fine, but when I click on the new subscription in itunes, there are no sermons. If I click on "!" I get:

"Waterstone Sermon Podcast does not seem to be a valid Podcast URL"

This happened when we recently upgraded to 3.x. I'm fine creating a new podcast and trying to link to that, but Itunes is asking for a feed URL and I don't know where to get that.

I guess www.waterstonechurch.org is your Homepage.
I've found 2 podcasts related to this page:

First one is probably the older one.

Now when I look at the underlying feed, I get two URLs:

• www.waterstonechurch.org//teaching/podca...eed=RSS2.0&no_html=1
• www.waterstonechurch.org/index.php?optio...monspeaker&view=feed

First one is from an older SermonSpeaker version. It would still work, but you seem to have changed something with your SEF and that broke the link.
The second one is the currently valid URL, unfortunately it has an error in the feed. The feed validator will help you here:
validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http...peaker%26view%3Dfeed

It seems you have an ampersand (&) in the filename for the 2010-12-12. Rename that file and select the renamed file for the sermon and it will probably work.

Podcasting was working fine on ITunes, but it seems to have stopped with a similar message to the one which started this thread. I've reinstalled Sermonspeaker 3.4.3 and Sermoncast 3.4.3
the scripturelinks plugin is at 1.5.7 which appears to be the latest level... I'm not aware of doing anything to change the installation but the validator which you referred to above gives the following response:

This feed does not validate.

* line 1, column 0: Undefined root element: script [help]

Clearly I have changed something, but what?

Disable the greybox effect in the ScriptureLink plugin. It applies the javascript even when it shouldn't and thus breaks the feed.
