Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hi, I am using sermon speaker 3.4.1. and I tried updating the component just like the help document explained but got this error.

* It was not possible to copy the selected file.
* JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /var/www/vhosts/rockchurchtemeculavalley.com/httpdocs/tmp/install_4d2e3ac71f7bd/site/sermonspeaker.css to /var/www/vhosts/rockchurchtemeculavalley.com/httpdocs/components/com_sermonspeaker/sermonspeaker.css

Any help would be great! I made sure directory permissions and ownership were all correct as well.

Ok i figured out the problem. The /sermonspeaker.css permissions were wrong. I had made some changes to the css file but for some reason the file changed permissions after putting it up to replace the original.
