Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Need to adapt path name to use external link was created by Julie Tillman
I plan to store my sermons on a different server (cheaper storage) than the server that hosts my Joomla site.
I enter the sermon path (it's public URL), but SermonSpeaker adds the prefix " www.mysite.com " to the URL so therefore the URL cannot work.
How can I fix it so that SermonSpeaker does not add that prefix to the link?
PS: I LOVE this extension and plan on making a donation as soon as I get it up and running. I have been looking for an extension like this for WEEKS! It is working great and has made me a very happy webmaster!

If you enter the path starting with 'http://', SermonSpeaker will no longer add your domain to it.
Keep in mind that the Flash Player may not be able to play the files due to crossdomain restrictions of Flash. It can be allowed, it's explained here: www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/...loading-restrictions
Also the download button will not work correctly if the file isn't on the same domain, as PHP is not able to read the file
Other than that, everything should work.

Thanks! That worked...I had "https" in the link and that was breaking it.
