Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hello again!

What files do I need to modify and what changes are required to remove the user's ability to download the audio files?

It appears that the Sermon list automatically attempts to "download" and not "play" the audio.

There is an option to hide direct download links. Alltought I'm not sure if that covers everything. This is an old option I never verified myself.
There is also an option for where the listings should link to, the detailpage and/or the audiofile.
And of course you would have to disable the download button.
