Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Is there away to add new sermons from the frontend? I know there is a upload sermon from the front end which I am able to do but prefer to upload the file via ftp and then add the sermon. Is there a way to bypass step 1 of the upload and choose the file in step 2 or what is the link to add new sermons without uploading it first.

There is no such way in SermonSpeaker 3.x. You either use the wizard with all steps, or you use the backend.

I'm currently rewriting the whole Frontend Uploader and try to include a Flash Uploader for SermonSpeaker 4.x. Maybe it will be possible to select a file then when I'm finished. I'll keep this request in mind.
