Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hi
I'm using 3.4.1 (pretty sure)
and the Series/Sermons List view

I'm not seeing the scripture reference on the front end.
Does it show in the view that we're using or do we have to use a different view

The Series/Sermons view doesn't show the scripture. It only shows the sermon title, date, notes, the additional file and the player.
You would have to use a different view.
Adding it to the Series/Sermons view is a bit tricky, especially if you don't know php and css yourself.
