Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Problem with Hungarian Language ini file

I have Sermon Speaker installed on the following website www.baja.golgota.hu , with Joomla 1.15.17. The primary language is Hungarian (Language flags in the left column). I created a Hungarian language file, hu-HU.com_sermonspeaker.ini, for the site labels. (encoded in the proper UTF-8 without BOM).

I didn't translate all of the site labels, only the ones that I needed for our particular display mode (Series list), the main menu item on the top or side menus is "Bibliaórák", just in case the site came up in Hungarian.. Anyway, the "Our Series" should be in Hungarian.. all of the labels are still displaying in English. it is behaving as though the hu-HU file is not there; I placed it in the same directory as the other site files (en-GB, DE, es..etc)

Any ideas as to why Joomla isn't picking it up?

Thanks for the improvements in 3.4.. especially the ability to change the sort order on the date!

The file hu-HU.com_sermonspeaker.ini has to be put to /language/hu-HU/hu-HU.com_sermonspeaker.ini.

I'm not sure if you placed it there or in the zip into /site/language/... .The latter would not work because the installer only copies the files described in sermonspeaker.xml.

If it's on the server in the proper language directory, it should be picked up by Joomla.
