Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

i've disabled "System - SEF Advance" and it seems to be working correctly now. try using different SEF plug in. you are not running joomfish from the looks of it.

Which SEF plug in do you recommend, then?

I think I paid for this one trying to get a better joomla link.

The SEF thing seems to only generate valid links if a menuitem is assigned. If not it seems to just route to the homepage.

With the newest "latest sermons" module you could assign a menuitem to the links which maybe remedies this problem

Hum, think this SEF was causing both of your problems. just checked out the RSS Feed and it now working links are actually linking to correct sermons.
