Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

I have installed Latest Sermon Module v3.43 on a site, and the mouseover has no background. What CSS file does it call to for this. I could not find it in the mod_latestsermons.php?

your template probably does not have tooltip css in it. you can use this code, but technically all you need is background color which you can change to anything you like.
