Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

I solved this 1/2 thru writing this email but I'll post it in case any one else is as daft as I am and gets stuck on this!

Upgraded to the latest version of 3 today (in preparation to upgrading the whole site from J 1.5 to 1.7)so I'll hopefully only be on v3 for a month.

In all the views the dates were only showing as a "1". The dates are properly entered in the sermons yyyy-mm-dd. They were displaying in 3.3.1 they seem to be working as the sort button does its thing its just that the dates are not showing.

The solution was to go to parameters (top right)and select date format and choose %y-%m-%d or whatever suits you, and save.

Its a great module
