Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

I enabled sermoncast today and was looking at the feed and the title of my website is wrong. It shows the generic "MyChurch Podcast" but I have it set to my church name in the parameters of Sermon Speaker. Is there somewhere else to change it as well?

Can you check the settings of the active menu entry? Those overwrite the global settings.

Where do I find the Active Menu setting so I can change this? I also have the same issue.

You have to look in the Joomla menu manager where you create the menu item. If you edit the item, you see various options on the right side.
