Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Can SermonSpeaker handle showing videos? Our Youth Director would like to post a video of a PowerPoint presentation on our church website. Can SS handle showing videos like it does audio?

SermonSpeaker 3.x should be able to play videos, but it may have its flaws. You'll have to try it if it works for you.

SermonSpeaker 4.2 (for Joomla 1.6/1.7) has much improved support for videos. With even the possibility to switch between an audio and a video version of the same sermon. It also plays Youtube and Vimeo videos.
