Showing date OR date + time

Hello,

normally we have only one lecture per day.
last week we had 4 lectures on saturday.

It would be nice to choose for each lecture/sermon, if date will be displayed or date + time.
This would be helpful for the user to select a lecture depending on time

This would need an additional database field and a new setting in the parameters to select the alternative dateformat.
I think it's a bit much work for a very special case.

I'd rather work on language associations and tags that were introduced in Joomla 3.x
