There wasn't much progress regarding SermonSpeaker in general this year.
That's not because I have no interest anymore. It's because I have to split my time between family (I became father from my second child this year), the Joomla CMS project (being in Production Leadership Team) and work (getting some money). There just wasn't much time left for SermonSpeaker and all the other hobbies

Hopefully I get more time again when the little one grows a bit or I have to step down from Joomla PLT. I will see next year.

Thanks for the reminder

Today I had some spare time and an idea how to solve this in a simple way.
In the backend there is now a new "play" button behind the file formfield which will reveal a native HTML5 player and play the selected file. This doesn't make use of the player plugins (which would be much more complex to include).
Of course this only works as long as the browser is capable of playing the file. So mp3 and mp4 files should work, but youtube videos for example will not work.

Please try if that works for you.

I couldn't test the new Version with ios and Safari Browsers.
But for Win7 and Win10 it works.

Chrome, FF, Edge check
win7 with IE11 there is a "problem" with the player. The player is to big and overlays the text but for me it is okay.
