new modul and different view

Hi Thomas,

a new module with a list of the preachers would be great.

And my second wish is for the preacher view that already exist.

Would it be possible to show only the "series" link for those who exist?

I have many Preachers that don't have a series so the page is empty. But i have also Preachers with some series so a query if a series exist for the preacher would be great.

Those are good ideas. I add them to the list.

I think the module should be easy.
The other request probably takes a bit more time, I'll have to see.

I have put together a module which can either show a list of series or speakers.

thx for the quick reply, the link goes to the Description of the preacher. It would be great if the user could choose from a tooltip or that the link goes directly to his sermons.

and yeah a special feature would be the sorting of the preachers from the most sermons to the least sermons, indicating the interest of the preachers.

The list is currently sorted after the name of the speakers/series. I could also easily add a sorting after the "ordering" set in the backend.

A sorting after the most sermons would be a much more complex query, which results in a bit slower pageload in the end. I'm not sure if that's the best idea

About the speaker page: SermonSpeaker 4.3 will let you set the default layout for each view. You can then set the default layout for the single speaker view to show the sermons and it will do that. Maybe that will solve the issue.
