Udpate to Joomla 3.8 has caused player to stop working

I have been trying to upgrade to 3.8, but when I do the JW Player 7 stops working.

I have tried on PHP 5.6 and 7.1 and it is the same issue

I have done the normal cache clearing... but without success.

You scared me for a moment, but the reason is simple. Your 3.8 is a test installation within a subfolder of the productive one, but you didn't copy the sermon files.
Since SermonSpeaker stores the mp3 files relative to the Joomla root folder, the player now doesn't find the file as it looks in www.saltisfordchurch.org.uk/test/sermons/ ....

To test, you can copy a few files over to the test folder.

I do not normally even worry about trying upgrading on a test site, but 3.8 completely messed up our templates - so on this occassion I did! Sorry to cause you stress.

I can confirm that all is well in the land of 3.8!
