Menu Specific cutomization

Hello all,
Hope to be all fine at all.
I want to set a menu item to point to a specific sermons or categories and set it to be defualt to the video files (link for a video library) and another menu for the same category or sermon to be defualted as audio file(link for audio library) and so on
is that possible !!? how to ??

Currently I think it's not possible, but it's a good idea to add this parameter to the menu items.

Are there other parameters which could be interesting for a menu item as well?

Actually it's very easy to do, one just has to add the field to the view metadata.xml. If the field is named the same as the one in /administrator/components/com_sermonspeaker/config.xml, Joomla will automatically override the global settings with the ones from the menu item.

Download and extract the attached file:


Upload it to:

/components/com_sermonspeaker/views/sermons/metadata.xml

Your sermons menu item should now allow to set the file prio. By default it will use the global value.

also i want it to be available in category list menu,
to be available in all menu types... it will help to make a video library & audio library with the same component nad the client will not know that

is it possible, if audio file priority is selected in menu... it shows only the items contains an audio file (with or without video)...

and if video file priority is selected in menu... it shows only the items contain video file (with or without audio file)
and don't show the items that have audio file ONLY!???
