Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I just tried creating two menu items of the type "RSS Feed (Podcast)" and set it to different categories and added custom parameters to those menuitems. When visiting the URL of the menuitem, I get correctly a feed with the parameters from those menuitems. Where I didn't specify a parameter, the global ones were taken as expected.
